Synopsis

Hercules has never quite fit in among humans. It makes sense considering the son of Zeus isn’t a mere mortal – he’s the strongest man in the world. But as a child, Hercules was kidnapped by Hades and lost the chance to live as a god on Mount Olympus. When opportunity arises, Hercules goes on a series of challenges to take his rightful place among the gods and finally understand who he is.

What to know

Hercules is an upcoming live-action adventure movie directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It is an adaptation of the 1997 animated film of the same name. Also producing the movie are the Russo brothers.

Guy Ritchie previously worked with Disney as the director of Aladdin, another live-action remake. Writing the screenplay is Dave Callaham.
