Synopsis
Snow White is expelled from her Kingdom as she becomes the fairest of them all
Beauty has belonged to the queen for so long that she’s begun to take it for granted. When she learns that the fairest of them all is now her stepdaughter, Snow White, the queen explodes with jealousy. The young princess is left with no choice but to take refuge in the forest. Snow White meets seven special companions in the forest, but can the young girl escape the clutches of her stepmother?

Rachel Zegler dazzles as the titular heroine in Snow White, boasting both the acting prowess and mesmerizing vocals to effectively bring the princess to life. She largely carries the film, which proves to be a vibrant, lighthearted, and empowering tale with catchy music and a lovely message for young audiences about the value of kindness and strength. While older audiences may find it a bit unoriginal and the CGI unsettling, it's a light, musical fairy tale adventure, great for family movie nights, and on par with Disney remakes like Maleficent, The Little Mermaid, and Mulan.

A Colorful And Surprisingly Entertaining Remake Of The Disney Classic
The latest Disney Animated classic to be brought into live-action, 2025's Snow White stands above many other entries in the franchise thanks to strong central performances and some clever tweaks. Rachel Zegler delivers a star-worthy performance, Gal Gadot is clearly having fun as the Evil Queen, and the tweaks to the story (such as a completely new approach to the love interest) are entertaining modernization. While the film may never reach the iconic heights of the original, there's enough to enjoy about Snow White to recommend it to families looking for a colorful and enjoyable time.

Snow White is an upcoming musical fantasy film directed by Marc Webb and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. Webb is responsible for 500 Days of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man. The film is an adaptation of the 1937 Disney animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The screenplay is written by Erin Cressida Wilson and award-winning filmmaker, Greta Gerwig who is behind the Barbie movie.
Who stars in Snow White (2025)?
In the lead role of Snow White is Rachel Zegler. The actress made her on screen debut in 2021’s West Side Story, for which she won a Golden Globe. Gal Gadot, who rose to worldwide fame in 2017's Wonder Woman, stars as the Evil Queen. The rest of the cast includes Andrew Burnap, Colin Michael, Ansu Kabia, Martin Klebba.
Is Brett Cooper involved in Snow White (2025)?
Conservative YouTube commentator Brett Cooper is not starring in Snow White. She is however starring in a different adaptation of the story produced by The Daily Wire and Bentkey titled Snow White and the Evil Queen.
Does Gal Gadot sing in Snow White (2025)?
In order to get the part as the Evil Queen, actress Gal Gadot had to prove that she could sing. She worked on the audition song for a month and landed the role. The movie sees Gadot and her cast mates singing new songs composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the duo behind new songs in Disney's live action Aladdin. The original songs by Frank Churchill and Larry Morey also feature in the movie.
