What is Avengers: Secret Wars about?
Avengers: Secret Wars is an upcoming superhero movie produced by Marvel Studios. Avengers: Secret Wars is part of the sixth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is based on a Marvel comic of the same name that ran for twelve issues from May 1984 to April 1985. In the story, heroes and villains are chosen by a cosmic entity known as Beyonder to teleport against their will and fight in "Battleworld". The world was created by Beyonder and is located in a distant galaxy. Avengers: Secret Wars will take place after the events of the Avengers: Doomsday. Stephen McFeely is the screenwriter of the movie which is directed by Marvel luminaries the Russo Brothers.
Who is starring in Avengers: Secret Wars?
The MCU's greatest heroes unite again for the sixth Avengers movie. There is no confirmed line-up of superheroes appearing in the movie though it is possible that Black Panther portrayed by Letitia Wright, Spider-Man played by Tom Holland and Captain Marvel portrayed by Brie Larson could all star. Other possible heroes include The Fantastic Four, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man, the Wasp, Loki, and Captain America. Doctor Doom portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. and the Fantastic Four played by Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Pedro Pascal are slated to appear.
