Synopsis
The Second Quarter Quell and the making of Haymitch Abernathy
On the morning of the reaping of the 50th Hunger Games, Haymitch Abernathy, a sixteen-year-old from District 12 enters the deadly competition. The whole of Panem watches as this new hero, with an unlikely origin, battles his way through horrific trials desperate to survive. The Second Quarter Quell is a historic moment in the history of Panem and as citizens across all districts watch on they soon realize that everything is about to change.
