Mahershala Ali stars in the MCU's Blade movie directed by Yann Demange
Blade is an upcoming superhero movie produced by Marvel Studios and is the seventh film in Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Blade marks the titular character's first appearance in the MCU, as well as the character's first live-action reboot. The movie is written by True Detective scribe Nic Pizzolatto.
Starring as the half-immortal vampire hunter is Mahershala Ali, the two-time Oscar-winning actor who first took home the golden statue in 2016 for his role in Moonlight. Ali is joined by Amandla Stenberg, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, and Alan Tudyk and Mia Goth.
