Synopsis
In a technology-addicted society, an orphan girl searches for her brother
Michelle is an orphaned teenager drifting alone in a post-apocalyptic world. When she meets a battered old drone named Skip her whole life changes. Skip encourages her to search for her missing brother and the pair begin a journey that will change Michelle's life in every way. Across a landscape of discarded technology and littered with rubbish from the past, Michelle searches across the West Coast for the only family she has left.

Set in an alternate history where 1990 sees humans and robots segregated after a bitter war, The Electric State is an adventurous buddy film like you’ve never seen before. The movie has tons of action, great humor, and a deeper message. Plus, all the various robots keep every scene fun and interesting. I also got tons of Borderlands and Twisted Metal vibes from the movie, so fans of bombastic adventures will definitely love The Electric State.
