Synopsis
Moana is back on the seas of Oceania with a new quest
The young explorer Moana is drawn toward uncharted seas. Following the calls from her ancestors, the determined Moana reunites with her companion Maui for a new adventure. This new dangerous path sees her face challenges, unlike anything she has witnessed before as she goes in search of people beyond her island.

Moana 2 is an upcoming animated musical adventure movie produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It is a sequel to the original Moana and is written and directed by David G. Derrick Jr. in his directorial debut. Derrick Jr. has previously worked on movies such as Megamind, Raya, and the Last Dragon, and Flushed Away. Music for the movie is handled by Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa’i. Moana 2 features Auli’i Cravalho in the leading role as Moana and Dwayne Johnson voicing Maui.
