Synopsis
The Spengler family are going back to where it all began and teaming up with the original Ghostbusters
When the Spengler family visits the Firehouse in New York they meet the original Ghostbusters and learn about their innovative research into the future of ghost busting. But when an unexplainable evil is unleashed all the Ghostbusters must come together to defeat it. The Death Chill threatens to bring the world into a second Ice Age unless the Ghostbusters can come together and save the planet.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a supernatural sci-fi comedy movie. It is set within the Ghostbusters franchise and acts as a sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The movie is directed by Gil Kenan who directed the movie Poltergeist and wrote Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is co-written by Jason Reitman, best known for the movies Up in the Air, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and The Front Runner.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire stars Paul Rudd as Gary Grooberson. Carrie Coon plays the role of Callie Spengler. Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things fame returns as Trevor Spengler, while Mckenna Grace plays Phoebe Spengler. Patton Oswalt stars as Hubert, and Celeste O’Connor plays Lucky Domingo. The cast also includes Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Bill Murray, Kumail Nanjiani, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire was released in cinemas on March 22, 2024.
