Synopsis
This is the story of Pablo Ráez, a young man from Marbella who in March 2015 and at the age of 18 was diagnosed with leukemia. During his long stay in the Hospital, he decided to challenge Spain to obtain one million bone marrow donors. Through social networks and from his bed in the isolation room, he managed to mobilize an entire country, multiply donors, and most importantly, raise awareness among several generations of the need for donations. Although Pablo died in February 2017, his legacy lives on, because the tools he used were messages full of life and hope, which managed to change consciences. This documentary features the participation of Pablo's family and friends, as well as specialists and famous faces who, in one way or another, were involved in the campaign led by Pablo, such as Dani Rovira, José Ramón De La Morena or Alejandro Sanz. But, above all, it's the presence of Pablo Ráez that becomes relevant as the production includes the entire audiovisual archive that he recorded himself. It's not in vain that Vladimir Ráez, uncle of the protagonist, is one of the directors of the documentary.
