O Voo da Borboleta Amarela (2024)

Documentary with dramatic scenes about the writer Rubem Braga, Brazil's greatest chronicler. Through the writer's chronicles, his rich life trajectory is recorded, in reverse chronology: from his death in Rio in 1991 until the publication of his first chronicle at the age of 13. Three actors represent Rubem from old age to youth, reviewing, through the window of his childhood farm in Espírito Santo, his bohemian life with intellectuals, his journalistic career in the country's main newspapers and his beginnings as a war correspondent. An animation illustrates a children's chronicle by the author. Music by Dorival Caymmi recorded in fado rhythm recalls the writer's Portuguese origins.
