Novocaine (2025)

Starring Jack Quaid as one of the world's most unlikely (but surprisingly believable) action heroes, Novocaine is a goofy twist on the modern action genre. Quaid stars as Nathan, a mild-mannered assistant bank manager whose longtime crush is taken hostage by bank robbers. Taking matters into his own hands, Nathan goes after them and finds himself in several wonderfully staged fight scenes that blend tension, comedy, and brutality. With a clever script that uses Nathan's inability to feel pain to great effect, Novocaine is a great comedic addition to the modern pantheon of action films.
