This guide will show you every trailer that debuted during the 2025 Super Bowl and let you know when they will be released.
2025 is going to be a huge year for cinema thanks to tons of highly-anticipated sequels, reboots, and franchises. And what better way to make a grand entrance than to debut your trailer during the most-watched televised event of the year… the Super Bowl! Here’s a look at what trailers debuted during the big game.
2025 Will Have Big Live-Action Remakes
During the Super Bowl, viewers saw the trailers for two highly-anticipated family movies – both of which will be live-action remakes of animated favorites. First, there was Lilo & Stitch, which will be a remake of the iconic 2002 Disney film. The new Stitch looks just as adorable as his cartoon counterpart, which will likely mean big returns at the box office. Viewers also saw a trailer for the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon, which is based on the popular 2010 film.
Massive Franchises Continue in 2025
Two of the highest-grossing franchises ever, Jurassic Park and Mission: Impossible, also launched trailers during the game. Jurassic Park revealed a new look at its next era with Jurassic World Rebirth, which could launch another trilogy for the franchise. Meanwhile, Mission: Impossible is reportedly concluding its 30-year run with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which will serve as the series’ epic conclusion.
Other Big-Budget Movies Also Debuted Trailers
There were also a few trailers that dropped that nobody was expecting. First up is the film adaptation of The Smurfs – simply titled Smurfs. The movie could be a gamble since the Smurfs IP hasn’t been touched in a long time, but with a HUGE ensemble cast including everyone from Rhianna to Amy Sedaris and John Goodman, the star power alone could propel the film to success.
Then there’s Brad Pitt’s upcoming F1 movie, which centers around (obviously) F1. While F1 is huge right now and it stars A-Lister Brad Pitt, the film reportedly has a budget of over $300 million…meaning it will need to be a massive hit to earn its money back. But considering that F1 is even bigger in Europe and the Middle East than it is in America, F1 will likely be a banger hit overseas.
