Part One of trilogy boasts super line-up of voice talents
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 1 is an animated superhero film produced by DC Studios. It is directed by Chris Palmer and Jeff Wamester. It is the eighth film in the animated Tomorrowverse series, following Superman: Man of Tomorrow (2020), Justice Society: World War II (2021), Batman: The Long Halloween - Part One and Part Two, Green Lantern: Beware My Power (2022) and Legion of Super-Heroes and Justice League: Warworld (2023). Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 1 marks the initial installment of a trilogy that will serve as the grand finale for the Tomorrowverse universe. Palmer, who previously directed the series' debut with Superman: Man of Tomorrow, teams up with Wamester. The latter is known for his directorial efforts in several DC titles like Green Lantern: Beware My Power and Justice League: Warworld.
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 1 boasts a star-studded cast familiar to Tomorrowverse fans, led by Darren Criss in the dual role of Superman from Earth-1 and Earth-2 alongside Stana Katic as Wonder Woman/Superwoman and Matt Bomer as The Flash. Adding to the roster, Jensen Ackles of The Boys takes on the iconic role of Batman. Ike Amadi portrays Martian Manhunter/Amazing Man/Ivo while Jimmi Simpson plays Green Arrow and Meg Donnelly is Supergirl/Harbinger. Zachary Quinto and Alexandra Daddario additionally reprise their roles as Lex Luthor and Lois Lane, continuing their saga from Superman: Man of Tomorrow.
Other members of the voice cast include Harry Shum Jr. playing Brainiac 5, Aldis Hodge as John Stewart/Power Ring, Ashleigh LaThrop voicing Iris West, Alastair Duncan as Alfred Pennyworth, Cynthia Hamidi as Dawnstar, Liam Mcintyre playing Aquaman and Johnny Quick. Jonathan Adams as Monitor, Geoffrey Arend as Psycho Pirate and Hawkman, Zack Callison as Robin, Matt Lanter as Blue Beetle and Ultraman. Ato Essando as Mr. Terrific, Erika Ishii portraying Doctor Light/Dr. Hoshi and Huntress. David Kaye as The Question, Nolan North as Hal Jordan and A.M.A.Z.O., Lou Diamond Phillips as The Spectre and Owlman and Keesha Sharp as Vixen. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 1 was released on digital on January 9, 2024.
