In Rio de Janeiro, 1971 Eunice Paiva and her five children are in the middle of a crisis. After her husband’s mysterious disappearance, the rest of the family is unsettled and nervous. Her husband, a prominent politician for the Brazilian Labour Party, is nowhere to be found, and his absence forces Eunice down an unexpected path.
