Synopsis
From a prizefighter to a preacher and back again
Fuelled by his love of family and community, George Foreman grew up poor with boxing as his only outlet. After winning an Olympic Gold and then the World Heavyweight title, Foreman was on top of the world until a near-death experience left him a changed man. Finding his faith, he retired from a successful boxing career in order to become a preacher. But when times got tough for his family and church, his calling called him back. George stepped back again into the ring again at the age of 45, seeking to become the oldest heavyweight champion in boxing history.

Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World is an American biographical sports drama film directed by George Tillman Jr. Tillman is a director and producer known for his work on several films and TV shows. He directed the movies Soul Food, Men of Honor, and Notorious, as well as the drama The Hate U Give. He is also known as a producer of the Barbershop movie series. Big George Foreman is written by Frank Baldwin and George Tillman Jr. while the music is handled by Brazilian pianist Marcelo Zarvos.
The movie focuses on the life of world heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman, played by Khris Davis. Davis is best known for his roles in Judas and the Black Messiah and Space Jam: A New Legacy. The movie also stars Sullivan Jones as Muhammad Ali and Hollywood legend Forest Whitaker as Doc Broadus. Jasmine Mathews, John Magaro, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., and Sonja Sohn make up the expanded cast.
