Berlin 4 Lovers (2019)

Berlin is a worldwide symbol for individual and sexual freedom. But with the appearance of the dating app Tinder another dimension showed up: An easy and uncomplicated way of dating someone you just met over your mobile phone. The documentary portrays ten metropolitans who are using the dating app. They reflect on their dating life, but more than that cover substantial topics of life in the big city: The search for individuality and approval, solitude and loneliness, psychological problems as well as the need of self-fulfillment. A portrait of Berlin's young and creative in technology's time.
