Seth Rogen produces this fresh take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with an all-star ensemble voice cast
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is an animated superhero film produced by Nickelodeon Movies for Paramount Pictures. The movie is based on the comic book characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is directed by American filmmaker and writer Jeff Rowe. Having co-directed and written The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Rowe makes his solo directorial debut. The screenplay is written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the duo behind Pineapple Express and The Interview, who both produce the movie through production company Point Grey Pictures. Co-screenwriting credit goes to the duo Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit who worked on Detective Pikachu. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are confirmed to be handling the score.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem features an all-star ensemble voice cast that is led by four teenagers taking on the turtles. Micah Abbey is Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. is Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu is Leonardo and Brady Noon is Raphael. The expanded cast includes martial arts legend Jackie Chan as Splinter, ex-professional wrestler John Cena as Rocksteady, and rapper Ice Cube as Superfly. Ayo Edebiri stars as April O’Neal, a new friend to the turtles. There are roles in the wider cast for Hannibal Buress, Ross Byrne, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph.
