Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always (2023)

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always is a live-action adventure web special produced by Netflix. The one-hour movie special commemorates the 30-year anniversary of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The special is directed by Charlie Haskell, known to Power Rangers fans as the director behind the television series Power Rangers: Dino Fury. Writers Alwyn Dale and Becca Barnes handle the screenplay, continuing on from franchise titles Power Rangers: Beast Morphers, Power Rangers: Ninja Steel, and Power Rangers: Dino Charge. Composer of the original theme tune, Ron Wasserman scores the web special.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always features returning roles for the original actors from the series. Steve Cardenas is back as Red Ranger, Rocky DeSantos. Catherine Sutherland returns as the Pink Ranger, Katherine ‘Kat’ Hillard. Karan Ashley plays Aisha Campbell, better known as the Yellow Ranger. John Jay Bosch is back as Adam Park, the Black Ranger. Crossing into the contemporary Power Rangers universe, Charlie Kersh is cast as Minh Kwan, the daughter of the first Yellow Ranger, Trini Kwan. Walter Jones appears as Zack Taylor, the first Black Ranger while David Yost, the Blue Ranger is played by Billy Cranston. Richard Steven Horvitz voices Alpha 9 while Barbara Goodson is back as the villain Rita Repulsa.
