"Inspired by the 1936 film Dracula’s Daughter, Universal’s latest horror movie finds a group of criminals trapped inside a twisted mansion with their hostage: a young girl dressed as a ballerina. Unfortunately for them, it turns out she's actually a vampire. The movie is a fun twist on the classic Dracula story and it definitely has M3GAN vibes throughout that add a good dose of smart humor and help Abigail feel fresh. If you like director Matt Bettinelli-Olpin’s other movies like Ready or Not and the V/H/S series, be sure to check out Abigail."

"Abigail is a campy, bloody, and refreshing take on Dracula and the vampire genre. Alisha Weir steals the show as she convincingly and chillingly brings the ballerina vampire to life in arguably one of the best horror performances of the year. The film will especially appeal to those who enjoy campy horror movies that are light on jump scares, like M3GAN and Renfield. Ultimately, Abigail is the perfect flick for those seeking a bloody, wild, and entertaining twist on the vampire genre with solid performances across the board."
