The Godzilla vs Kong creative team return for a thrilling MonsterVerse sequel
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is a monster action film produced by Legendary Pictures. The film is a sequel to 2021’s Godzilla vs Kong, and is the seventh instalment overall in Legendary and Warner Bros’ MonsterVerse franchise. Adam Wingard returns to direct The New Empire, after first directing Godzilla vs Kong. Wingard wrote the screenplay alongside Terry Rossio, who also wrote for the first film, and Simon Barrett (Seance).
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire sees the return of Rebecca Hall as anthropological linguist Dr Ilene Andrews, Brian Tyree Henry as conspiracy theorist Bernie Hayes, and Kaylee Hottle as Ilene’s daughter, Jia. New cast members include Dan Stevens, Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House.
