What is Captain America: Brave New World about?
Captain America: Brave New World is an upcoming superhero action film produced by Marvel Studios for Disney. The film takes place within Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and is the fourth film featuring Captain America as the main protagonist. It is the 35th Marvel superhero film overall. The film is written by Malcolm Spellman (Empire) and Dalan Musson (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), and directed by Julius Onah (Luce). Captain America: Brave New World takes place after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and follows Sam Wilson's Captain America as he grapples with his new role holding the shield.
Who stars in Captain America: Brave New World?
Anthony Mackie plays Sam Wilson, who takes on the Captain America mantle from Chris Evans’s Steve Rogers. He is joined by Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross (aka Thunderbolt), and Liv Tyler as Ross’ daughter, Betty. Also featuring are Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, and Tim Blake Nelson.
