The Mission Impossible franchise comes to a close with The Final Reckoning
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is the upcoming second part of the last instalment in the legendary action-spy franchise produced by Skydance Media and Paramount Pictures. Action director Christopher McQuarrie helms The Final Reckoning, which was shot directly after Mission: Impossible– Dead Reckoning Part 1. Composer Lorne Balfe creates the explosive score for the final film in the Mission: Impossible franchise.
Legendary actor Tom Cruise plays Ethan Hunt for one final time, after first starting in the role in 1996. The Final Reckoning features even more daring stunts by the actor, giving a fitting sendoff to his iconic character. He is once more joined by familiar faces, including Impossible Missions Force (IMF) team members Luther Stickell and Benji Dunn, played by Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg. Former IMF director Eugene Kittridge returns, played by Henry Czerny. Rebecca Ferguson portrays the former M16 agent turned Hunt-ally Ilsa Faust, and Hayley Atwell returns as Grace. Vanessa Kirby reprises her role as the White Widow, Alanna Mitsopolis, while Esai Morales brings his Part 1 villain into the final instalment.
