Synopsis
A series of unsettling incidents compels an improbable trio to pursue the trail of a malicious government scheme.
An unlikely group of three investigate a series of strange occurrences that point to a malicious scheme taking place right under their noses. Fontaine, a drug dealer in the area, is killed by his rival Isaac but to his surprise, he wakes up unscathed the following day. Together with Slick Charles and Yo-Yo, they begin to investigate the incident and their search eventually leads them to a massive underground complex where a government-funded laboratory is conducting experiments on the Black population in the area. After discovering that he is a clone controlled by Nixon, Fontaine initially feels hopeless but decides to take a stand against the white institutional overlords for the sake of his community.

Juel Taylor makes his directorial debut with Netflix original film starring John Boyega, Teyonah Parris and Jamie Foxx
They Cloned Tyrone is a sci-fi comedy-mystery film co-written and directed by Juel Taylor for Netflix. Tony Rettenmaier is the other co-writer of the project. Taylor is known for co-writing the screenplays of Creed II and Space Jam: A New Legacy. The film is produced by Taylor along with star Jamie Foxx with Datari Turner, Rettenmaier, Charles D. King and Stephen "Dr." Love. Ken Seng handles cinematography duties after previously working on such titles as Deadpool and Love, Death & Robots. Pierre Charles, who previously collaborated with Taylor on Space Jam: A New Legacy, is responsible for the film's musical score.
The film boasts an impressive cast consisting of John Boyega as Fontaine, Teyonah Parris as Yo-Yo and Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx as Slick Charles. Kiefer Sutherland and J. Alphonse Nicholson rounds out the cast.
