The Russo Brothers helm fifth entry of the Avengers series as Robert Downey Jr. portrays Dr. Doom
Avengers: Doomsday is an upcoming superhero film from Marvel Studios and Disney directed by the Russo Brothers. It is based on the Marvel comics characters of the same name. Avengers: Doomsday is the third film of MCU’s Phase Six and the 39th overall film in the MCU. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton was originally attached to direct the film, however it was confirmed in November 2023 that he was exiting the project.
MCU veterans, Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously crafted such popular titles as Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Endgame, return to helm Avengers: Doomsday.
