Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is an upcoming action-spy thriller written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie for Paramount Pictures. It is based on the spy TV series with the same name which ran for seven seasons in the 1960s-’70s. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is the final film in the Mission: Impossible franchise which starred Tom Cruise in eight films (including The Final Reckoning) beginning with 1996’s Mission: Impossible. It also serves as a direct sequel to 2023’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

Henry Czerny makes a comeback as Eugene Kittridge, the former director of IMF. Rebecca Ferguson portrays Ilsa Faust, a former M16 agent who now stands as an ally to Hunt and his team. Hayley Atwell assumes the role of Grace, a character with ambiguous motives, while Vanessa Kirby reprises her role as Alanna Mitsopolis, also known as the White Widow. Esai Morales continues his role as the cunning antagonist, maintaining his villainous presence from the previous installment.
