Synopsis

Elio follows the story of an 11 year old boy who experiences an extraordinary journey across the vastness of space. Elio is an upcoming animated film written and directed by Adrian Molina for Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. It serves as the 28th animated film from the illustrious Pixar Studios which boasts a remarkable catalogue of beloved titles including the Toy Story franchise, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Up, just to name a few.

Who worked behind-the-scenes of Elio?
Adrian Molina has worked on numerous Pixar films since 2007 including Toy Story 3 and Monsters University as well as co-writing and co-directing Coco in 2017. Elio is his first original full-length theatrical release directed solely by him. The film is also produced by Mary Alice Drumm and Pete Docter.
Who is in the voice cast of Elio?
Yonas Kibreab provides his voice in the lead role of Elio Solis. America Ferrera, best known for her roles in Ugly Betty and Superstore, portrays Elio’s mother, Olga. Zoe Saldaña (Avatar) voices Elio's aunt. Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) and Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond) portray Ambassadors Questa and Grigon, respectively.

- During Disney's D23 Expo, Pixar made an announcement regarding an upcoming animated film called Elio with a target release date of Spring 2024. Taking on the role of Elio is Yonas Kibreab, known for his portrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi, while America Ferrera portrays his mother, Olga Solis.
