Elio is an upcoming animated film written and directed by Adrian Molina for Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. It serves as the 28th animated film from the illustrious Pixar Studios which boasts a remarkable catalogue of beloved titles including the Toy Story franchise, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Up, just to name a few.

Accidentally transported to the Communiverse, a young boy named Elio suddenly becomes Earth's representative to the universe. As he explores this strange new world, he forges connections with quirky aliens and embarks on a quest to understand his own identity and purpose.

Adrian Molina has worked on numerous Pixar films since 2007 including Toy Story 3 and Monsters University as well as co-writing and co-directing Coco in 2017. Elio is his first original full-length theatrical release directed solely by him. The film is also produced by Mary Alice Drumm and Pete Docter.
