Synopsis
In the town of Gavaldon, the mysterious School Master selects two children to enroll at the School for Good and Evil once every four years. Sophie and Agatha are best friends who are different in almost every way. Sophie loves pink, dreams of being a princess, and feels right at home at the School for Good. Agatha has an affinity for the color black and lives in a cemetery with her cat – making her well-suited for the School for Evil. When the pair are finally enrolled by the School Master, the unthinkable occurs: Agatha is sent to the School for Good while Sophie to the School for Evil. This strange turn of events puts their friendship to the test.

The School for Good and Evil is a fantasy film directed by Paul Feig and produced by Netflix. The Netflix Original movie is based on the novel of the same name by Indian-American author Soman Chainani, which is part of a trilogy known as The School Years.
Sophia Anne Caruso takes on the role of Sophie while Sofia Wylie plays Agatha. The impressive cast includes Laurence Fishburne as the School Master, Michelle Yeoh as Professor Emma Anemone, Olivia Pope as Professor Clarissa Dovey and Charlize Theron as Lady Lesso. Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett narrates the events of The School for Good and Evil throughout the movie. The School for Good and Evil was released on Netflix on October 21st 2022.
