Fennell is known for having written the hit television show Killing Eve and directed the movie Promising Young Woman. The movie is produced by Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley, and Margot Robbie.
Saltburn features actor Barry Keoghan in the lead role as Oliver Quick. He is joined by Jacob Elordi who stars as Felix Catton. Rosamund Pike and Richard E. Grant star as Elsbeth and Sir James Catton. Alison Oliver plays Venetia Catton, while Archie Madekwe plays Farleigh.
