Synopsis
Can Mack drop her defence strategy in order to stay in it for the long game?
Mack is a sports writer with a talent for strategy. Both her and her best friend Adam use that talent to score in their dating lives too — but when Mack falls for Nick, she must learn to take down her defences or keep playing while never winning.

Players is a comedy film produced by I Can and I Will Productions for a Netflix release. Trish Sie, who previously directed Pitch Perfect 3 and Step Up All In, directs Players with Whit Anderson as screenplay writer.
Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) plays the lead character, sportswriter Mack. She is joined by comedian and actor Damon Wayans Jr as her best friend, Adam. Tom Ellis plays the unwitting target, Nick, and the rest of the cast includes Liza Koshy as Ashley, Joel Courtney as Little, and Augustus Prew as Brannagan.
