Hollywood legend Nicolas Cage stars as the iconic blood-sucker Count Dracula
Renfield is a horror-comedy film directed by Chris McKay for Universal Pictures. It is a sequel to the 1931 vampire-horror film, Dracula, which starred Bela Lugosi as the legendary titular character. McKay has previously directed and edited three seasons of the adult stop-motion series Robot Chicken along with directing 2017’s The Lego Batman Movie. Ryan Ridley penned the screenplay for Renfield which derived from an original story pitch from Robert Kirkman.
Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage stars as the infamous Count Dracula while his assistant counterpart, Renfield, is portrayed by Nicholas Hoult. Awkwafina stars as Rebecca Quincy, the easily angered traffic cop and Renfield’s love interest. Ben Schwartz stars as mob enforcer Teddy Lobo and Adrian Martinez plays Rebecca's co-worker, Chris Marcos. Shohreh Aghdashloo, Bess Rous, James Moses Black, Caroline Williams, Brandon Scott Jones and Miles Doleac round out the cast.
