Synopsis
Riri Williams is a teenager who could give billionaire playboy Tony Stark a run for his money. The young woman is the mind behind the world's most advanced armored suit and her impressive skills are coveted by many. After making her first appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the superhero is given her own series to show off all the extraordinary things she can do.

Ironheart is an upcoming superhero series produced by Marvel Studios for Disney+. Sitting at the head of the writing table is Chinaka Hodge, who is also the showrunner and series creator. Hodge is known for her work on Snowpiercer and The Midnight Club.

Riri Williams/Ironheart is played by Dominique Thorne, an American actress known for her roles in If Beale Street Could Talk and Judas and the Black Messiah. Anthony Ramos stars as Ironheart's ally, Parker Robbins/The Hood. Alden Ehrenreich plays Joe McGillicuddy. Lyric Ross stars as Natalie Washington while Matthew Elam plays Xavier Washington. Anji White is Riri's mother, Manny Montana stars as Cousin John while Shea Coulee plays Slug.
Which MCU movie is Ironheart in?
Ironheart makes her first appearance in Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever where she’s seen using her skills to create the most advanced suit of armor ever seen.
Is Ironheart related to Iron Man?
Ironheart is inspired by Iron Man's armor and technology but the two are not related. In the Marvel comics, Ironheart reverse engineers Iron Man tech in order to create her own suit and this is where she derives her name. Despite the failure of the suit, she piques the interest of Tony Stark who becomes her mentor. In the MCU, Stark is already dead when Ironheart is becoming a force to be reckoned with. She is mentored instead by Shuri in Wakanda.
