Synopsis
When Nami loses her smartphone she loses everything. All of her personal information and data is suddenly in the breeze. When she begins to receive threats in her day-to-day life, Nami must track down her phone and come face-to-face with the strangers hacking her life. As events unfold, Nami realises that this isn’t just a silly prank, someone is pretending to be her. When you lose control of your phone you lose control of who you are.

Unlocked is an upcoming South Korean sci-fi thriller movie based on the Japanese novel of the same name written by Akira Teshigawara. Unlocked is the second adaptation of the novel after the 2018 movie Stolen Identity. Kim Tae-joon makes his directorial debut having worked as a successful actor. Dalpalan handles the film score. The movie is produced by Studio N and distributed by Netflix.
The movie stars Chun Woo-hee as Nami, a start-up worker who loses her phone. She is joined by Im Si-wan who plays Jun-yeong, the person who gets entangled in Nami’s life by finding the phone. Kim Hee-won portrays Ji-man, a detective who is on the hunt for a murderer. The expanded cast includes Park Ho-san, Kim Ye-won and Kim Joo-ryoung. Unlocked was released on Netflix on February 17th, 2023.
