Will Ferrell lends his voice as top dog in raunchy comedy produced by Lord and Miller
Strays is an adult comedy film produced and directed by Josh Greenbaum for Universal Pictures. Greenbaum has previously directed a number of TV show episodes and documentaries including New Girl and 2013’s The Short Game while his feature film directing credit is the Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo comedy, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar which released in 2021. Strays is written by Dan Perrault who is best known for co-creating the popular mockumentary series, American Vandal. Along with Greenbaum, Strays is produced by Erik Feig, Louis Leterrier, Aditya Sood and Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The latter duo is best known for their work on a number of successful projects including The Lego Movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and 21 Jump Street.
Will Ferrell leads the pack as the voice of Reggie, the abandoned dog. Jamie Foxx is the voice of Bug, Isla Fisher voices Maggie and Randall Park is the voice of Hunter while Will Forte portrays Reggie's former human best friend, Doug. Josh Gad, Harvey Guillén, Rob Riggle, Jamie Demetriou, Brett Gelman and Sofía Vergara round out the cast.
