Synopsis
A regular teen is transported into the spirit world to become a supernatural detective
After a tragic car accident kills him, Yusuke Urameshi is resurrected with a new purpose. Once a delinquent teen, Yusuke is sent to train to become a spirit detective. As he investigates the paranormal world, Yusuke will come face to face with adversaries he could never imagine.

YuYu Hakusho Season 1 is a live-action adventure fantasy television series based on the manga of the same name. YuYu Hakusho Season 1 is developed by Akira Morii and Kazutaka Sakamoto. It is produced by Robot Communications for Netflix. YuYu Hakusho Season 1 is written by Tatsuro Mishima and directed by Sho Tsukikawa.
YuYu Hakusho Season 1 stars Takumi Kitamura in the role of Yusuke Urameshi. He is joined by Shuhei Uesugi who plays Kazuma Kuwabara. Jun Shison stars as Kurama while Kanata Hongo plays Hiei. The Season 1 cast also includes Sei Shiraishi, Kotone Furukawa, Ai Mikami, Hiroya Shimizu, Keita Machida, Meiko Kaji, Goro Inagaki, Go Ayano, and Kenichi Takito. YuYu Hakusho Season 1 was released on Netflix on December 14, 2023.
