Synopsis
An unassuming teenager takes on a new and completely unexpected vocation
Yusuke Urameshi is an unruly teen who can’t stop getting himself into trouble. But when he is involved in a tragic car accident, he saves the life of a young child and in the process is also killed. Yusuke is then resurrected to become an investigator of the supernatural spirit world.

A Netflix live-action adaptation of the famous 90s manga
YuYu Hakusho is a Japanese live-action fantasy adventure television series. It is based on the manga series of the same name created by Yoshihiro Togashi. The show is developed by Akira Morii and Kazutaka Sakamoto with Tatsuro Mishima handling the writing, and Sho Tsukikawa directing the series. The show is produced by Robot Communications.
Takumi Kitamura stars in the leading role as Yusuke Urameshi. Shuhei Uesugi stars as Kazuma Kuwabara. Jun Shison plays the role of Kurama while Kanata Hongo stars as Hiei. Sei Shiraishi plays Keiko Yukimura while Kotone Furukawa plays Botan. The cast also includes Ai Mikami, Hiroya Shimizu, Keita Machida, Meiko Kaji, Kenichi Takito, Go Ayano, and Goro Inagaki. YuYu Hakusho was released on Netflix on December 14, 2023.
