Tom Spezialy is among the writers on the series, best known for his work on the TV mini-series, Watchmen and The Leftovers. Jonathan van Tulleken, director of The Changeling and Shogun handles two episodes of the first season. The series showrunner is Silka Luisa, a director best known for Shining Girls, Strange Angel, and Halo.
Where is Blade Runner 2099 filming?
The series has filming locations in Prague, Czech Republic and Madrid, Spain. Filming on the series began in June 2024.
