Synopsis
Replicants are still going rogue and Blade Runners are still in business
Set 50 years after the events of Blade Runner 2049, society is still complicated by the relationship between humans and replicants. The Blade Runners are bounty hunters who decommission rogue replicants and their job is only growing harder as more humanoid robots break free from human control.

Blade Runner 2099 is an upcoming dystopian sci-fi limited series produced by Alcon Entertainment, Scott Free Productions, and Amazon Studios for Amazon Prime Video. Silka Luisa is the series showrunner, she is known for her work on Shining Girls, Halo, and Strange Angel. The show is a television sequel to the movie Blade Runner 2049. Ridley Scott, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, and Michael Green are among the producers of the series. Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh stars in the series alongside Hunter Schafer.
