Synopsis

"happy too" is not a "making-of" documentary in the conventional sense. Its focus is the flip side of the world portrayed in "Happiness Is a Warm Gun". With the same penetrating gaze, irony and courage that Thomas Imbach used to probe the fantasy of activist romance, this time he takes aim at the myth of glamorous film acting. "happy too" parallels the Kelly-Bastian relationship with the struggles of actors Linda Olsansky and Herbert Fritsch. How to merge with the characters they play, without falling into the same patterns of self-destruction?
