Harley Quinn Season 5 is an upcoming adult animated black-comedy television series for Max. It is developed by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey. The show is based on the celebrated DC Comics character created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm.
It originally started by following the compelling story of Harley Quinn breaking free from her abusive ex, the Joker. As she teams up with Poison Ivy and her group of misfits, they aim to become the ultimate villains. Over time, Harley and Ivy develop a romantic relationship, affectionately known as "Harlivy," set against the intriguing backdrop of Gotham. The series became a massive hit for Max, additionally airing a special Valentine's Day episode in 2023.
Kaley Cuoco reprises her lead voice role as Harley Quinn, with Lake Bell also returning as the voice of Poison Ivy. The supporting cast features Ron Funches as King Shark, James Adomian as Bane, J.B. Smoove as the voice of houseplant Frank and Alan Tudyk, who voices both Clayface and the Joker. Diedrich Bader provides the voice for The Batman while Jacob Tremblay and Christopher Meloni round out the cast as the voices of Robin and Commissioner Gordon, respectively.
