What to know
Lionsgate continue their Saw franchise with a bloody eleventh instalment
Saw XI is the upcoming eleventh instalment in the wildly successful horror franchise produced by Lionsgate. The eleventh instalment comes on the heels of the tenth, which revived the series after a two-year gap between productions. The film will likely continue Saw X’s trajectory and timeline, focusing on the creative killer John Kramer during the time between Saw and Saw II. Saw XI is once more directed by Kevin Greutert, who previously directed Saw X, Saw VI, and Saw: The Final Chapter.
Although not much is currently known about the production, it is likely that Tobin Bell will return to star as John Kramer (aka Jigsaw). Other cast members who may return for more are Costas Mandylor as one of Jigsaw’s apprentices, Mark Hoffman, and Shawnee Smith as Amanda, after also appearing in Saw X.
