Synopsis
A young woman with big dreams sets out on a mission to save her home
Moana is a young woman who dreams of exploring the seas — contrary to her family’s wishes. When a plague strikes her home, Moana sets out to find the demigod Maui, in an effort to save her home.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson returns as Maui in Disney’s live-action retelling of Moana
Moana is an upcoming children’s adventure film produced by Disney. The film is a live-action adaptation of the 2016 original animated film of the same name. Jared Bush, who scripted the original film, returns to pen the screenplay alongside Dana Ledoux Miller.
So far, the film stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as the demigod Maui.
