Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf find themselves embarking on a new adventure through Arendelle, the Enchanted Forest, and Northuldra.
Frozen 3 is the upcoming third instalment in Disney’s hit animated film series. The first film was released in 2013 and became an overnight success. The film adapted Hans Christian Anderson’s story The Snow Queen for a new audience, and gave young children a Disney Princess role model who does not rely on a Prince or King to save her. Frozen 2 came out in 2019 and saw Elsa explore the roots of her powers in the Enchanted Forest. Jennifer Lee writes and directs the third Frozen instalment for Disney.
Although no official casting announcements have been made, it is likely Idina Menzel will reprise her role as the protector of the Enchanted Forest, Elsa. She will likely be joined again by Kristen Bell as Elsa’s sister, now the Queen of Arendelle, Anna. Other cast members likely to return to voice their beloved characters include Josh Gad as the lovable snowman Olaf, and Jonathan Groff as Anna’s husband Kristoff.
