In the Clover Kingdom, magic is everywhere. But although young Asta was born without magical abilities, he is intent on becoming a Wizard King, proving himself to the world and overcoming adversity.
Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard is a Japanese anime film produced by Pierrot for a Netflix release. The film takes place within the Black Clover series universe, which ended its fourth season in 2021. Original Black Clover manga creator Yūki Tabata, who advises on the series, returns as an advisor for the film. However, the film is not considered manga canon, as it tells a completely new story not previously featured. The team from the Black Clover series also work on the film, including Ayataka Tanemura as director, Itsuko Takeda as character designer, and Minako Seki as music composer.
The cast includes Gakuto Kajiwara voicing the main character, Asta, and Toshihiko Seki as Conrad Leto, the Wizard King. Other cast members include Nobunaga Shimazaki, Kana Yūki, Hōchū Ōtsuka, Fumiya Takahashi, Marie Iitoyo, and others.
