Cailee Spaeny stars as the titular lead in biopic from Sofia Coppola
Priscilla is a biopic film written and directed by Sofia Coppola for A24. It is based on Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir titled Elvis and Me she wrote with Sandra Harmon. Presley also executive produces the film. Coppola is an Academy Award-winning filmmaker who is best known for work on such titles as Lost in Translation (which earned her the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay), The Virgin Suicides and Marie Antoinette. Priscilla is produced by Coppola alongside Youree Henley, who produced her 2017 psychological thriller The Beguiled, and Lorenzo Mieli.
Cailee Spaeny portrays Priscilla Beaulieu/Presley. She has previously appeared in Bad Times at the El Royale, On the Basis of Sex and Mare of Easttown. Euphoria's Jacob Elrodi stars as Elvis Presley. Dagmara Domińczyk stars as Priscilla's mother Ann Beaulieu while the rest of the cast includes Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll as Alan "Hog Ears", Luke Humphrey as Terry West, Dan Beirne as Elvis' road manager Joe Esposito, Olivia-Mai Barrett as Aleberta, Dan Abramovici as Jerry Schilling, R Austin Ball as Larry Geller and Evan Annisette as Mike Stone.
