Wes Anderson directs all-star ensemble cast including Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson in his 11th feature film
Asteroid City is a sci-fi romantic-comedy drama film written and directed by Wes Anderson for Focus Features. It is the 11th feature film from Academy Award winner Anderson who is known for his uniquely-styled and eccentric films including The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel. Similarly to every one of his previous movies, the screenplay is written by Anderson with story by credits including himself and Roman Coppola. Coppola previously collaborated with Anderson on the screenplays of The Darjeeling Limited and Moonrise Kingdom. Asteroid City is produced by Anderson, Steven Rales and frequent collaborator Jeremy Dawson.
