Synopsis
Oswald Cobblepot, The Penguin is a rising star in Gotham’s criminal underworld
After the death of crime lord Carmine Falcone, his chief henchman Oswald Cobblepot is in charge and running the operation. The disfigured mob boss, otherwise known as Penguin is fast becoming the main player in the Gotham City underworld. Meanwhile, Sofia Falcone, daughter of the late Carmine is looking to exert her own influence and follow in her father’s footsteps.

The Penguin Season 1 is an upcoming crime television show produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television Studios for Max. The show is a spin-off from the Matt Reeves-directed movie The Batman. Reeves serves as executive producer of The Penguin. Lauren LeFranc is the showrunner and writer for all eight episodes. Mare of Easttown director Craig Zobel is confirmed to be directing the first three episodes of show.
The Penguin Season 1 sees Colin Farrell star in the titular role. He is joined by Cristin Milioti who portrays Sofia Falcone, daughter of the mob boss, Carmine Falcone. Michael Zegen plays Alberto Falcone, brother to Cristin. Clancy Brown stars as Salvatore Maroni another Gotham City crime boss. Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Jared Abrahamson, and Deirdre O’Connell all feature in the expanded cast among others.
