Synopsis
The Boondocks follows the Freemans, a black family living in the white suburb of Woodcrest and struggling under the oppressive rule of Uncle Ruckus, the community's leader. The series first aired in 2005 and returns for a reboot with more adventures that show modern black American life and the changing landscape of modern society with the help of hilarious scenarios and absurdity.The series was created by Aaron McGruder, who is also the head writer. McGruder first put the story together in comic format, which was syndicated from 1996 to 2006.
