Synopsis
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man finally unlocks the mystery of Peter Parker's transformation into the web-slinging superhero. Set before the events of Spiderman: Homecoming and Captain America: Civil War, Freshman Year follows Peter Parker as he gains his powers, learns his skills, and faces his earliest tests and trials as a superhero. The show features cameos from the likes of Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Harry and Norman Osborne, the Rhino and, Scorpion.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 is an animated series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Telling the still-unknown story of how the MCU Spiderman gained his powers this ten-episode series is written by Jeff Trammell who is best known for his work on the series Craig of the Creek. It is part of the official Phase Four of the MCU and was announced in November 2021 at Disney+ Day. Beloved Marvel actor, Charlie Cox who originally played Daredevil in the live-action series is voicing the character again for the animated series.
