Synopsis
Working through themes of motherhood, grief, and loss, Season 4 of Servant seeks to wrap up the story of Dorothy Turner and her mysteriously undead son Jericho. At the heart of this twisted tale is Leanne Grayson, once the nanny for the Turner family and now a wielder of supernatural abilities. Her ties to the Turner household and her battle with the Church of Lesser Saints make Leanne the central force of this finale. Reckoning with the past and the future, the family has no choice but to follow Leanne and see where she leads.

Servant Season 4 is the final outing in this psychological thriller series created by Tony Basgallop and executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan. Shyamalan is an iconic moviemaker and supernatural horror specialist known for the The Sixth Sense, The Village, and Signs. Season 4 sees Alyssa Clark, Ishana Night Shyamalan, and Kara Lee Corthron taking on writing duties for different episodes. All three have previously written episodes of Servant and keep continuity with previous seasons in this finale. M. Night Shyamalan will direct episodes of the final series as will Dylan Holmes, Celine Held, Logan George, and Carlo Mirabella-Davis.
The cast for Servant Season 4 sees few surprises with Lauren Ambrose playing the grief-stricken, mentally unwell Dorothy Turner. Toby Kebbell back as the most ineffective husband Sean Turner. Rupert Grint plays Julian Pearce, Dorothy’s unreliable alcoholic brother. British actress Nell Tiger Free takes the main role as mysterious Leanne Grayson, whose backstory is under the microscope in this last season. Servant Season 4 was officially renewed at Apple TV+ in December 2021. Ahead of the season 3 finale, executive producer M. Night Shyamalan revealed that the fourth season would be the final outing of the show and had been greenlit. The first teaser for the show was released in October 2022, giving fans a recap of key moments from previous seasons and a small glimpse of the final season. At the same time, the release date of January 13, 2023, was confirmed. In December 2022, a full trailer was released showing the power and force of Leanne Grayson as well as depicting Dorothy in a wheelchair after the serious injury she sustained in season 3. Servant Season 4 was released on Apple TV on January 13, 2023.
