Secret Invasion is a miniseries produced by Marvel Studios and Disney+. The show is based on a storyline of the same name that first appeared in Marvel Comics in 2008. The story was originally written by Brian Michael Bendis. Bendis has also written for the X-Men, Daredevil, and The New Avengers comics.
Nick Fury is the protagonist of Secret Invasion. Fury is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the founder of the Avengers. The character has appeared as a supporting feature in many of Marvel’s productions but Secret Invasion is the first to focus primarily on Fury.
Joining Jackson in the limited series are Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman and Don Cheadle. The lead villain of the series will be played by Kingsley Ben-Adir. Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, and Carment Ejogo are also part of the show’s cast.
